With the highest dedication to safety, our newly renovated, state of the art facility’s top priority is proper environment maintenance and sanitation. We strive to exceed standards set forth by the USDA and FDA, as well as maintain consistent monitoring and communication within every area of production. Our facility includes controlled atmospheres, hot water and acid rinse cabinets, steam pasteurization cabinets, steam vacuums, x-ray and foreign object detection, and auto grading technology all working together to ensure the intervention of pathogens. TXPC also completes comprehensive audits conducted by a separate third party as well as anti-microbial testing performed by an accredited third party lab.
TXPC operates under a strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) program to safeguard our entire processes from receiving live cattle to final product. Our quality control program establishes that all cattle and beef products follow the Humane Handling, Domestic Origin, Non-Ambulatory/Disabled Cattle, Spinal Cord Removal, Pathogen Intervention Steps, and Carcass/Product Testing programs. With other plans in place such as an Employee GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) program, an Employee SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) program, and an SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) program, TXPC keeps safety at the forefront of every process.
